Exhibit: The Trousseau of Blondinette Davranches

Shari Kirby from Pleasanton, CA exhibited "The Trousseau of Blondinette Davranches" at the 2014 Good Sam Show. "It is a 1/6th scale copy of the original porcelain doll, costumes, accessories and furniture sold by the Huret firm of Paris, France in the 1860s. Blondinette Davranches (the original name of the doll) and her trousseau were discovered in a chateau located near Rouen, France in 1994 in near perfect condition."

Doll and accessories by Shari Kirby. Furniture by Anne Patterson.

"Blondinette, her trousseau, and furniture were auctioned separately by Theriault's in 1995 for over $100,000," Shari tells us. Photo courtesy of Connie Sauve, Exhibit Chairman.
